About the role

The purpose of this job is to lead the forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting of the assigned business. This person is responsible for developing operational analysis to aid in the understanding of business trends as well as early identification of issues to be addressed and communicated with senior management. This person will also be responsible for the calculation of ROI on growth opportunities as well as the subsequent review of performance of these opportunities post execution. 

 

Duty or Responsibility

Develops and maintains all forms of financial planning (forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans) to ensure clear financial visibility of business operations and trends and drives the business to achieve financial goals.

Leads financial analysis based on current and historical data assists the organization with key decision-making.

Actively engages in the development, support and review of:

  • alternative strategies
  • operating assumptions
  • investment decisions
  • business strategies

Oversees and builds financial models to allow senior leadership an effective means to identify or assist with decision making.

Participates in and reviews the analysis, design and implementation of metrics and reporting, and refines existing metric criteria and relevance to the business.

Develops standardized approaches related to key financial processes while identifying opportunities to eliminate re-work & redundancies.

Assists senior management with presenting conclusions and recommendations on emerging financial issues and strategy.

Develops the financial planning team through effective recruiting, development, and mentoring.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance,(4 years of relevant work experience may be substitutable)
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills

Pay Rate: $140,000 - $175,000/yr depending on background and experience.

This position is eligible to participate in the Music & Arts Company bonus program based on Company performance.
