Your knowledge of local GAAP in Germany, the Netherlands, or Switzerland—combined with a strong command of IFRS—makes you a key partner in ensuring compliance across entities. Your insights will help drive business performance and provide valuable financial guidance to support strategic decisions across the organization.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Responsible for month-end closing activities across all entities.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and adherence to group accounting policies and internal controls.</p></li><li><p>Managing and forecasting cash flow via direct method.</p></li><li><p>Managing intercompany transactions and related transfer pricing documentation.</p></li><li><p>Managing consolidation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, Portugal, US).</p></li><li><p>Continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, including automation and process optimization.</p></li><li><p>Oversight of compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements.</p></li><li><p>Coordinating with local accountants for statutory reporting, tax reporting, audits, and relationship with local tax authorities.</p></li><li><p>Monitoring regulatory developments in accounting, tax, and finance laws in Germany, Switzerland, UK, Portugal, US and the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with local requirements.</p></li><li><p>Collaboration with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on financial and compliance matters.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of German business culture.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting; CPA, registered accountant or equivalent qualification preferred.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of experience in financial control, focusing on group consolidation, transfer pricing, tax compliance, and indirect taxation (VAT, sales tax).</p></li><li><p>Expertise in local GAAP (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, Portugal, US) and IFRS.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to manage group consolidation processes, prepare group financial statements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, legal, operations).</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills to present financial data clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>High integrity, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Language versatility that enhances teamwork and communication in international settings.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer at RoomPriceGenie</strong> 💪</p><p>At RoomPriceGenie, we don’t just offer jobs; we offer an adventure! 🚀 Join us in an exciting startup atmosphere where you can grow your career while changing the world for tens of thousands of independent hoteliers. 🌍 Our global and diverse team is fueled by passion and a shared mission.
