Description
The School of Communication at American University invites applications for a term faculty appointment in the Journalism Division beginning January 1, 2018.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a master’s degree and have substantial professional experience related to journalism, mass communication and media entrepreneurship. The successful applicant will teach three undergraduate or master’s degree courses per semester in journalism and mass communication, including, but not limited to, media entrepreneurship and management, and reporting. The successful applicant should have college-level teaching experience with proof of teaching effectiveness. All faculty are expected to hold office hours and participate in School and University activities and service.
