Job Description

Are you interested in working with and learning more about AI and Generative AI? Do you have background and expertise in one or more areas of Design? Have you worked with scaled design asset implementations such as design systems, accessibility standards and reusable design and engineering components. Put those skills to work answering strategic questions for one of the world's most respected and innovative payments companies.

Join our Design Engineering & Analytics organization, working as the lead staff of our AI and Analytics for Design function. This function will serve as a scaled horizontal service to define strategy and impact Visa’s Global Design processes, leveraging data and artificial intelligence technologies (e.g., Generative AI).

In this role, you will work with all areas of the Global Design organization, as well as key business partners, stakeholders, and Generative AI efforts across Visa. This function will be on the cutting edge of the application of Generative AI technology to our Global Design practice and will help shape how Global Design leverages the fullest potential of this technology. You will be part of a fun, humble team, always learning, thirsty for feedback, and collaborating with others to deliver high quality design assets and deliverables.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- In depth knowledge of and experience in human centered design, design processes and workflow, including user research, prototyping, testing and iteration.
- Experience in creating user experience maps, service blueprints, wireframes, polished user interface design, rapid prototyping, and presentations that communicate strategy.
- Strong fluency in digital design software including Figma, FigJam and Adobe products.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt techniques and processes to an ever-changing eco-system of design tooling and techniques.
- Knowledge of Generative AI capabilities available throughout the industry.
- Ability to articulate your design decisions to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to self-manage time and work independently or as part of a team.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
