The Opportunity

Software Engineer – Embedded Platform Applications  

Description: 

We are seeking a high caliber SW Development Engineer to work onsite in our Sylmar CA location in our Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

Working under general supervision, performs and coordinates a variety of development and verification activities including, but not limited to, planning and coordinating software development with the local team, and working closely with the team in the US. You will be working on various Medical Embedded Platform applications.

The Software Engineering team provides a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where engineers work closely with a cross-functional team building embedded applications for physicians. You will collaborate with other engineers in Architecture, Development, Product, Systems engineering, and SW Quality teams to build new products and support existing products. What You’ll Work On

  • Implement software in current OOPs programming languages such as Java/C++ and investigate issues on multi-threaded applications. Has a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles, multi-threaded applications.

  • Evaluates multiple design options, leads proof-of-concepts, and proposes optimal design solutions compatible with the software system architecture. 

  • Should be familiar with different versions of Java (8 and above) or similar programming languages to be able to <
