The Opportunity

  • Maintenance Superintendent at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will assist in maximizing and achieving effective maintenance performance through management and daily oversight of the execution of maintenance work. 
  • Responsible for oversight of the front-line supervisors and ensuring execution of the daily work tasks as identified by the schedule. 
  • Individual will work to improve execution efficiency, supervisor capability and optimize preventative maintenance.
  • Work with a diverse and close-knit group of technicians/mechanics

 

Key activities include:

  • Leadership and Staff Development:
    • Proven leader with a strong record in staff development and retention. Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
    • Can work effectively with others, reach consensus, can lead meetings and get attendees to reach an agreeable conclusion. 
    • Supports management objectives. 
    • Can present and defend positions to higher management when required. 
  • Process Management:
    • Can determine the processes necessary to accomplish tasks
    • knows how to organize people and activities
    • understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow
    • knows what to measure and how to measure it
    • can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can’t; can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resources.
