Position Summary

The position coordinates all projects in the Office of the Dean at the School of Public Health. This role will manage coordinate multiple projects and programs from development through implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Projects will align with the School of Public Health’s mission and strategic direction. This position reports to the Special Projects Manager.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative/operational support of assigned programs/projects.
  • Assists in developing project/program goals, objectives and plans in collaboration with Dean’s Office leadership.
  • Assists with creating long- and short-term work plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Provides support to the project team, including developing agendas, materials, summaries.
  • Maintains and updates work plans and timelines.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Coordinates implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects.
  • Assists in development/management of department budget/finances.
  • Updates the implementation plan on a regular basis.
  • Tracks, documents, and communicates progress in collaboration with the plan evaluators.
  • Contributes to continuous quality improvement and activities to facilitate the utilization of data for decision-making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$23.37 - $36.19 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
