Job Description

As a Computer Support Specialist, you will diagnose and resolve technical problems with computing hardware, software, and network services, and complete project work as assigned. You will strive to create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution, communicating promptly on progress, and handling clients with a client-focused professional attitude. It is your job to ensure the end-to-end customer experience is as positive and pleasant for those we work with and for.

DUTIES:

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS, and iPadOS​
  • Configuration of students’ devices for Wharton’s computing environment
  • Google, Active Directory, and Pharos print account administration
  • Managing tickets and chat using Zendesk
  • Updating internal & external knowledge-base articles

QUALIFICATIONS: (Qualifications should clearly indicate those that are required and those that are preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work within a team effectively
  • Demonstrated customer service skills are a plus
