Job Description
The QA /Marketing Technologist role supports all aspects of Quality Assurance & Marketing Automation. This position is responsible for the accuracy, functionality, and effectiveness of automated marketing campaigns and workflows to ensure they perform as intended and meet organizational standards. This role involves identifying and resolving errors and verifying audience segmentation to ensure messages reach the right target. Additionally, this role supports and optimizes marketing automation technologies and campaigns to enable communications with students throughout their lifecycle
Job Description Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
- Primary function will be to conduct QA checks on all outgoing communications for Email, Marketing team campaigns, segmentation, smart lists, links, link tracking, content optimization, alignment with ticket requests, etc.
- Collaborates with marketing teams to maintain consistency, document procedures, optimize processes, and uphold compliance with industry regulations.
- Test and optimize campaigns, programs, and nurtures on an ongoing basis to achieve peak conversion.
- Analyze audience data to find additional marketing and optimization opportunities.
- Work closely with the Email and Engagement teams to support technical needs.
- Provide regular, in-depth reporting for Marketing teams.
Marketing Automation
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Lifecycle Team.
- Manage data collection, standardization, and normalization.
- Assist in the administration of Marketo and related business applications such as Ringlead, Twilio, and Knak
- Assist in defining, implementing, and maintaining marketing automation best practices, including data quality and hygiene, list management, content optimization, and general troubleshooting.
- Research new technologies, software, and plugins to enhance and further Lifecycle capabilities, as requested.
- Collaborate with teams to collect research and smoothly implement new processes.
- Execute marketing campaigns and best practices for Marketo; lead scoring, profiling and segmentation, system integration, data hygiene, optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Support cross-functional teams providing technical expertise on issues involving sales and marketing tools and databases.
- Design and optimize integrations between marketing technology, CRM, etc., through close work with internal technology teams.
- Build, optimize, and maintain marketing automation operations — including programs, behavior-based campaigns, lead scoring, email templates, forms, and customer segmentation — with the goal to increase marketing contributed pipeline and improve customer engagement and experience.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics for team KPIs and campaigns.
- Work with internal teams to conduct A/B tests and optimize customer experiences and conversion rates.
- Design and maintain an actionable prospect database with the accompanying process to ensure long-term data hygiene and list management.
- Develop and deploy behavior- and event-triggered email communications that utilize dynamic content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and internal clients to determine and develop campaign assets that will generate the strongest results.
