Provides various office support activities for the Front Desk. Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business for Front Desk support; ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services. Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and work experience. Serves as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of Front Desk team, but is not a supervisor. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Supports the development of new and innovative solutions to complex problems; serves as second in line of contact and/or escalation as needed. Spends a majority of working time performing the same work processes and activities as the Registration Specialists and office support team led.
- High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Requires 3-5 years of office administration experience in healthcare setting.
- Front office experience, EHR experience and customer service experience preferred.
- Successful completion of Foundation of Leadership within 6 months of assuming role or Emerging Leaders program.
