Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Faculty for our Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Cybersecurity programs. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and to developing an innovative curriculum. Potential courses taught may include Principles of Information Security, Network Security, Governance and Policies, Compliance, Introductory Programming, Web Design, and Auditing, Forensics, and Basics of Computing. Qualifications

Required:
 

• Master's degree or higher in CIS or Cybersecurity or related field.

Preferred:

• Prior college level teaching experience, using new technologies in teaching, experience with digital learning management systems such as Brightspace, discipline related work experience, and teaching non-traditional students preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and interest in contributing to UMA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
• Current Cybersecurity and Information Technology industry Certifications.
• One year or more of practical experience.

Salary: The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
