OLV Host/Hostess

Job Summary

Responsible for providing exceptional hosting services, as well as preparing the guests' tables to maximize guest satisfaction and a quality of work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets and seats all guests according to established procedures.
• Clears, cleans, and prepares tables for guests.
• Maintains supportive technology (telephone, headsets, electronic devices) by charging as needed, strong correctly and reports problems and low inventory as occurs.
• Acknowledges guests entering and leaving restaurants and establishes a positive first and last impression.
• Conveys strong communication skills both in person and on the phone.
• Portrays and exemplary image.
• Knows and understands guest check procedures.
• Keeps the host area, wait area, and restrooms clean, organized, and supplied and help clean dining area.
• Exhibits a positive attitude.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements

• To be on their feet continuously during their shift
• Twisting, bending and stretching of torso.
• Constant, brisk walking between kitchen and dining room.
• Working on floors that may have grease and/or water on them.
