Keysight is creating a new generation of software for electronic product design and test. We are looking for an enterprise software data architect like you to pave the way for exciting near-future technologies like 5G/6G, quantum computing, battery systems, and autonomous vehicles by architecting cloud-native, big-data solutions to support our world-class electronic test & measurement products. 

  

Electronic Measurement for next-generation technology (like Quantum, 6G, Autonomous Vehicles, and beyond) is creating an ever-expanding volume of measurement data, which must be stored, referenced, and analyzed faster than ever. Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams and product planners to architect robust, scalable data pipelines and data storage solutions for electronic test & measurement data at big data scale 
• Design and develop APIs to integrate different data sources across disparate systems and create tools and storage systems to support measurement and analytics applications in Keysight's ecosystem 
• Design responsibilities to direct teams to implement Data Centric Solutions 
• Interface and execute Data Strategies 
• Create production-grade data pipelines, storage systems, and tools using advanced programming languages (C++/C#/Python/Go). 

• Use modern CI/CD practices to ensure that the entire data workflow is correct and testable. 
• Collaborate closely with instrument teams, measurement experts, analytics engineers, and business planners to define, design, and analyze the data challenges Keysight is facing. 
• Continuously evaluate and identify improvements in the delivered tools, systems, and architecture. 
• Participate in Agile processes and work with project managers to architect systems adhering to data engineering best practices and highlight technical dependencies for prioritization. 

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field   
• Thorough understanding of SaaS, cloud security, and microservice architecture for data-driven services 
• 8 years of experience delivering data-centric software applications and services 
• Experience with industry-standard datastores for big data as well as traditional SQL, time-series, and document databases 
• Experience developing ETL services to aggregate data from multiple sources 

• Experience in software development using C++/C#/Python/Go  
• Understanding of agile development process and principles of CI and CD for software delivery 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Knowledgeable about communication protocols 
• Working knowledge of electronic test and measurement instruments
