This position is responsible for providing onsite engineering support. This person will assist engineering with process and material coordination. Providing a wide variety of administrative and computer skills to directly assist engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, proactive, able to work with engineering to meet multiple deadlines, thrives working in a fast paced environment, and is a proven multi-tasker with attention to detail. Assignments typically include:
Performs as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution during the artifact pre-release phase
Performs project non-technical duties
Serves as process and tool expert for engineering design teams.
What You Will Do
Set up and maintain ALM projects and spaces for various programs (risks and opportunities, action items, development folders, drawing library etc). Provide ALM support/ guidance. Place support tickets on behalf of others.
Broad engineering support including; permissions administration, 3rd party bid reviews, travel paperwork liaison, meeting support, and purchase requests
Work with Security/LSA to ensure that Program and Security records are matching
Work with security conducting inventory for compliance
Work with security during government audit/inspection preparation
Other tasking as security issues arise that requires EPA assistance related to document control, i.e. locating materials
Parts ordering
CRG Coordination
PO Creation through Ariba
COPS Support
Creating delivery documents
HW Tracking and asset management
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Required
