Job Description

As an Associate Manager, Special Projects at Wholesure, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance organizational structures, processes, and systems to support growth and efficiency in the wholesale insurance market. By combining organizational design, project management, and analytics, you will support the execution of projects that align with Wholesure West’s strategic goals, such as process improvements, data systems integration, and external partner management. You will collaborate with internal teams and engage externally with stakeholders (e.g., carriers, MGAs) to ensure initiatives drive business value and market responsiveness. This role requires a proactive, data-driven approach and strong collaboration skills to support change and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Organizational Design Support: Assess organizational needs, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve scalability and agility. Contribute to the development of operating models and decision frameworks, incorporating external market insights.
  • Project Coordination: Support the management of projects by driving project plans, tracking timelines, budgets, and risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • E&S Market Support: Support the initiatives being enacted through Rich Stamets and the E&S Markets team. Coordinate with Rich from a national level on objectives and help to implement them in the Western region.
  • Change Management Support: Help integrate change enablement activities, such as stakeholder communications and training, to facilitate adoption and reduce disruption. Assist in workshops and alignment sessions to support solution development.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Sales, Operations, HR, and external stakeholders to align initiatives with business needs and promote Wholesure’s value proposition. Support external engagement to strengthen partnerships.
  • Data-Driven Contributions: Use metrics (e.g., project ROI, loss ratio, cost savings) and analytics tools to track progress, support decision-making, and report outcomes to leadership.
  • Operational Support: Ensure compliance, inclusive practices, and high-quality deliverables in all assigned tasks, maintaining a focus on stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on organizational design trends, project management practices, and insurance industry dynamics to contribute relevant insights to Wholesure’s strategy.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, organizational design, or related fields, preferably in insurance, financial services, or wholesale industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to support projects or initiatives, with a track record of meeting deadlines and contributing to measurable results (e.g., process improvements, system rollouts).
  • Experience assisting with system implementations or change management activities in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., carriers, vendors) to support business objectives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior leaders.
