As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may performed remotely at manager's discretion.Data Domain Management (Role Specific) Responsibilities:
• Leads overall data documentation program for data analytics program in Corporate and Institutional Banking and the Asset Management Group
• Partners with MIS and Data Domain Owners to establish documentation / lineage requirements for applications and data assets
• Directs documentation activities, defines best practices and supports Application Owners to ensure compliance with established best practices
• Serves as an Alation documentation expert for data consumers, developers and other stakeholders
• Drives change management protocols in support of data documentation compliance
Preferred Technical Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., Analytics, STEM, etc.)
• SQL proficiency and understanding of database designs
• Strong understanding of data documentation concepts and tools (i.e., Alation)
• Proven project management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of common analytical tools (Tableau, Rshiny, PowerBI, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity
• Knowledge of the banking industry preferred\

Job Description
- Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
- Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
- Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
- Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
- Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
