IT Governance Lead- Department of Defense (DOD)

What You Will Do:

This position will directly support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Chief of DAF Information Technology Governance & Analytics Division. This position will supervise a team focused on governance and policy changes focused of DAF Enterprise IT. This role will lead the team in developing a new federated governance model.

This position is required to be located within the Washington D.C. area but allows for a hybrid mix between contractor/client/home office. Expectation is that this role will be on either contractor or client site at least twice a week.

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance
• Bachelors degree
• Seven (7) plus years directly relevant work experience with either DOD, DOJ, DHS, or other federal agencies
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage a team
• Familiarity or previous experience supporting Air Force and/or DOD
• ITIL certification
• Experience establishing IT governance models in a federated environment
• Experience designing multi-level governance boards to promote/shape standards, IT policies, and mitigate IT risk
• Experience managing strategic communications and change management practices to enhance adoption of transformation initiatives
• Ability to analyze organizational structure and provide recommendations for enhanced efficiency
• Ability to work on site at the Pentagon or client site

• An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
