The People Operations Team is hiring a Sr. HRIS Specialist to oversee the HRIS system functionality, including: data integrity, reporting, analytics, business processes, data security and employee engagement with the system. You will be the subject matter expert for all things HRIS, while partnering with Stakeholders across the organization -particularly Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, FP&A, Talent and People Business Partners - to ensure they have what they need from a systems perspective to help their teams thrive. You will focus on optimizing our current HRIS, UKG, while also partnering with leaders to determine the right long-term solution for our business. This is a great chance to lead and drive system excellence and evolution for one of ezCater’s most critical platforms.

What You'll Do:

Data integrity, stewardship & security:

  • Conduct regular data audits to maintain data integrity and system accuracy to help establish UKG as the source of truth for all People data.
  • Be a subject matter expert on our organizational design and maintain data integrity related to department/team structures, titles, and leveling within UKG.
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely reports to help them make informed business decisions.
  • Ensure appropriate access levels for employees, balancing job empowerment and system security for compliance purposes.

Workflow and process development & system integration:

  • Assess the current state of our system, focusing on data flows, workflows, self-service reports and integration capabilities. Identify gaps and opportunities based on business needs, employee feedback, and industry best practices, then implement necessary changes.
  • Increase process automation, efficiency, and accuracy within our system. Evolve and automate workflows to streamline processes, assist with clean data transfer, and ensure data integrity.
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Payroll, Accounting, IT, and other cross-functional teams to optimize usage of UKG related to system configuration, business processes, reporting and architecture, and for general audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other teams to help build secure data pipelines and ensure seamless integration between our HRIS and other systems.

Stakeholder & vendor management:

  • Act as the project lead for HRIS-related projects and field ad hoc requests from stakeholders, particularly from a data and reporting standpoint, while identifying areas to make more self-service.
  • Support the People team and cross-functional departments with system access and resources. Educate employees on system utilization and act as a subject matter expert for arising issues, collaborating with HRIS network to find answers when needed.
  • Leverage your strong relationships within the UKG community to stay updated on market trends and product enhancements to help us enhance and mature our processes and system usage.

What You Have

  • 5 years of experience maintaining and building HRIS systems and workflows, including configuration and testing, with at least 2 years of experience with UKG.
  • Strong analytics and reporting expertise with expert proficiency in Cognos BI.
