Electric Power Systems within the Power and Controls business unit is looking for a motivated and organized Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to become a key player in managing and administering contracts across a variety of customers. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that contractual obligations are met, compliance standards are upheld, and risks are mitigated. What You Will Do

• Support the L5 Value Stream Leaders (VSL) for their associated Programs by:
  • Providing negotiation strategy guidance
  • Supporting customer negotiations
  • Providing sound contractual recommendations
  • Interpreting and drafting contract language
  • Providing change management support
• Responsible for all facets of contract administration
• Maintain and organize contracts audit artifacts
• Adhere to import / export compliance requirements
• Adhere to and comply with standard work processes
• Recommend process improvements to enhance functional performance
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Disseminate (flow down) customer contractual requirements within the organization
• Establish relationships with internal and external customers
• Proposal Management: review and negotiate contract terms and conditions 
• Proactively identify and mitigate program and contract risk
• Account receivable management
• Manage customer interface and correspondence
• Support company initiatives including CORE, audits, standard work, and business financial goals

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience relevant to contract administration: drafting proposals, reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions and managing changes to contracts and scope of work
• Experience with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with managing external relationships
• Contracts or Supply Chain experience is preferred
• Experience working in a cross functional team environment
