Principal Software Engineer - Health Care Technology Group

Job Description:

We’re seeking a strong hands-on technologist who is passionate about solving complex problems in the Health Care Domain. As a Principal Engineer you will lead a team of engineers for building web based  and batch solutions to support H&W product offering. you will interact with Architecture and Management to translate product requirements to technology solutions. You will serve as mentor for junior engineers within the team.  You will be responsible for design and implementation of technical solutions to achieve business goals for the product offering.

• Ability to operate at multiple levels, zoom-in and out as the situation demands. Ability to stay connected to the details while possessing the ability to see the big picture.
• Knowledge of HealthCare industry will be an added qualification.
• Ability to navigate across a complex and changing technology landscape and stay on top of industry trends.

The Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Java application development using Spring.
• 5+ years of experience in database design and development using Oracle / PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of UI development using Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Azure and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of web application development using JSP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Angular
• Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, API documentation (Swagger)
• Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies.
• Strong knowledge of E2E ALM tools like JIRA, gitStash, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy.
• Working knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage and scaling will be desirable.
