JOB TITLE:   Production Technician                         DEPARTMENT:  Production  

LOCATION:   Amelia, Ohio                                        REPORTS TO: Plant Manager 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

 

Responsible for interpreting, producing, and packing production batches in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to quality procedures as specified in product formulas. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

• Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.  
• Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured.  
• Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment 
• Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly 
• Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow 
• Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements. 
• Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements.  
• Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules, completion of cyber security modules and any other company mandated training requirements.   
• Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership. 
• Communicates required information in all phases of production processes: Both Oral and Written: Including all phases of the process 
• Operates material handling equipment including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts. 
• Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoning skills, mathematical skills, and physical skills 
• Other duties as assigned. 

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School graduation or equivalent 
• Basic industrial/manufacturing experience desired. 
• Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.   
• Basic skills in MS Office software; basic math skills.
