You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:

• Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment
• Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
• Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting
• Deescalate and mitigate behaviors throughout the day

You will be offered:

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52-week year long position)
• New Pay rate: $24.00- $27.36/hr (based upon experience)

Devereux Day Academy is a private academic school program located in Norristown, PA. Devereux Day Academy is licensed to serve students in grades K-8 who have been identified with the following primary disabilities: Intellectual Disability, Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Specific Learning Disability, and Speech or Language Impairment. The core curriculum has been aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards, as well as the curricula of our partner school districts. This alignment will facilitate smooth transitions to and from the program for your students. Qualifications

EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

 

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. 

 

Must possess and maintain valid driver's license

 

Must be at least 21 years of age.
