The Senior Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards by implementing robust quality assurance processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality within the organization. 

*This is a flexible hybrid role requiring a few days a week in our Waltham, MA office

What you'll do:

• Drive quality within a frontend engineering team responsible for frameworks and high traffic web applications
• Create and execute Test plans, Test cases, and Test strategies 
• Develop automation and automation strategies to underpin a high velocity CI / CD pipeline
• Identify, troubleshoot, and debug defects in SaaS software
• Understand current advancements in web frontend technologies
• Participate actively in all agile scrum team ceremonies

Who you are:

• 5+ years in test automation of web applications is required
• Experience creating Playwright integration tests for TypeScript frontends is a must to be successful in this role
• Experience creating Mockito unit and integration tests for backend Java services
• Experience testing web servers such as Nginx 
• Experience with public cloud environments such as AWS
• Experience working with Jenkins and Git in a CI/CD environment
• Strong collaboration skills and influential mentality
• Experience with web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, JSON, CSS, etc.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
