SUMMARY
Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a Staff Nurse RN for our Mobile Clinic in Minneapolis. This is a grant-funded position (funded through June 30, 2027). This part-time Staff Nurse will work seven shifts per pay period (8 hour shifts; includes potential evenings and rotating weekends). This benefit-eligible role is union represented and primarily works day shift. Opportunities for tuition reimbursement and advancement. Successful applicants must have a valid driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

  • Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health
  • Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care
  • Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
  • Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
  • Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
  • Educating patient on their disease process
  • Assuring continuity of care
  • Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
  • Positions in a mobile clinic setting are periodically required to operate the mobile clinic; candidates must have a valid driver’s license
  • Prior pediatric nursing (RN) experience required
