What You Will Do

  • Provide technical support to internal and/or external staff in the industrialization of functional items in a multi-national environment.

  • Assist with Mechanic engineering in CAD, specifically CATIA.

  • Assist with 3D printing of prototype parts.

  • Participate in ME parts design and fabrication.

  • Support concept ideas and brainstorming

  • Assisting in the realization of customer and Harman requirements into practical design.

  • Technical support for the industrialization of functional items in a vehicle environment.

  • Assist in the product testing and implementation in concept cars.

  • Work with cross-functional product development teams.

  • Participates in automotive & technology forums

  • Conduct mechanical design of prototype parts in an automotive environment.

What You Need

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Freshman year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program

  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • Must have taken courses in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must have skills in CAD engineering

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives

  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan on a hybrid schedule

  • Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

  • Must provide full work availability from May 20, 2024 through August 9, 2024 and be able to work 40 hours per week
