Critical Care Nurses:Clinical Managers Make It Possible Clinical Manager - RN – Emergency Department (ED) - Full time Evenings  At New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, Critical Care nurses are the face of hope and healing when every moment counts. Oversee the nightly operations of Emergency Department ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and caring to our patients. Partner closely with two Patient Care Director’s, who will help mentor and guide you in your new leadership role.
Establish short- and long-term goals for the unit, manage and evaluate staff, lead nightly huddles, support clinical decision-making and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services. Regularly assess unit operations (including patient flow and throughput) to identify room for improvement. Lead initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit. Continuously move forward in your career, as you receive numerous opportunities to learn and grow. 

Schedule is 4 ten hour shifts, varied start and end times.Must be able to work 2 weekend shifts per month . No Holiday Requirement .

 Preferred Criteria
  • Charge nurse or supervisor experience 
  • Masters Degree in related area
  • National Board Certification
Required Criteria
  • At least two years of acute care RN experience in the Emergency Department and/or ICU
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • ACLS & BCLS PALS certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range:

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
