Key Details:
Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.
Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

Department Summary
The Global Travel Sourcing team negotiates contracts with airlines, hotels, ground transportation vendors, and distribution channels on behalf of all brands globally, guided by data and analytical insights. We are also collaborating with brands in modernizing their IT travel technology and function as subject matter experts for all things aviation and travel industry.
Internship Project Summary
Project Title: Crew Travel RFP Support
Objective: The intern will support the team in researching, designing, and executing RFPs for crew travel (including air, hotel, and ground transportation). For Air, which is the largest spend category for travel, RFPs have not been conducted, so the research and design phase for those RFPs will be crucial in ensuring successful RFPs.
Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)
Research RFP best practices and make recommendations on how to implement
Evaluate and make adjustments to current hotel and ground transportation RFP templates
Support the air team in designing an Air RFP template
Analyze spend data to develop recommendations on which airlines to target for potential RFPs
