TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
Location: 1130 Sanctuary Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009; Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.
Salary Range: $149,760 - $154,200/year
Job Description: Build the Next Gen Applications Suite to automate applications' deployments. Along with writing effective code, the position will be responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining a highly scalable set of products and applications. Play a pivotal role in automating the scaling and management of server resources, implementing code for zero-downtime deployments and facilitating best-in-class DevOps practices. Use industry best practices and work collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation team and DevOPS engineers. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.
Configuring, deploying, and managing application servers, using WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat;
Automating routine tasks, managing system operations, and streamlining workflows through scripting with Shell, Groovy, and Python;
Azure Cloud services including storage, virtual machines, and networking;
Enable automated testing, building, and deployment of applications using CI/CID Pipeline (Jenkins, Cloudbees, Docker, Run Deck);.
LDAP/SiteMinderfor user authentication and access control;
Experience monitoring system health, application performance, and infrastructure using tools such as Datadog.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Insurance/Technology-related role or in the job offered.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 22. $149,760 - $154,200/year
