The Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Vice President of Operations for the Automotive Americas Business Unit. This role is responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives across a complex, multi-site manufacturing and operations footprint.

 

The Senior Manager HRBP drives organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, leadership capability, and cultural transformation while ensuring strong execution of core HR processes and alignment with TE Connectivity values and policies.

 

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to VP of Operations and the plant HR management team on leadership effectiveness, organizational design, change management, and talent strategies.
  • Translate business strategy and operational priorities into integrated people strategies that drive performance, engagement and capability development.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and leadership development.
  • Lead teams to execute HR initiatives that support a collaborative, high-performance culture and business excellence.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations using workforce analytics and business metrics.

 

Talent Management & Workforce Development

  • Monitor and influence the recruitment process, ensuring top talent acquisition and retention in alignment with OneHR partners
  • Strengthen the talent pipeline through workforce planning, competency modeling, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Lead succession planning and career development strategies to nurture high-potential and in succession employees.
  • Implement employee training programs to enhance skills, engagement, and professional growth.

 

Change Management & Organizational Development

  • Drive organizational design and simplification initiatives to support growth, productivity, and operational excellence.
  • Lead and support change management efforts associated with restructuring, transformation, automation, and operational improvements.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Collaboration & Enterprise Leadership

  • Partner closely with OneHR teams (HR Centers of Excellence - Total Rewards, Talent, Learning, HR Operations; and Regional Partners) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, EHS, and Operations leaders to support business outcomes.
  • Contribute to HR functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across Automotive Americas and the broader TE community.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance associated with 7-10 years of related experience
  • Impactful experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting operations preferred; significant cross-functional experience and impact welcome
  • Strong balance between strategic thinking and tactical execution.
