Bring your strong safety mindset to lead and support dsm-firmenich facilities in North America (USA and Canada) to safeguard the health of employees, contractors, and tollers through effective risk management – we’re hiring a Senior Manager, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) NA - Industrial Hygiene. Through your leadership and example, you will raise awareness and embed a culture of industrial hygiene excellence, engaging all organizational levels. management skills and enable growth across a leading global business. This position resides in the Global Operations Excellence (GOE) organization reports to the Director GOE SHE NA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal standards related to industrial hygiene and occupational health
- Maintain dsm-firmenich's competitive edge while safeguarding employee health and ensuring compliance
- Develop and maintain industrial hygiene competence in NA to meet SHE and Security targets
- Provide expertise in industrial hygiene and occupational health including occasional support to LATAM.
- Participate in the Industrial Hygiene Tier I network, shaping global occupational health strategy
- Manage risks associated with acquisitions and expansions
This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 2 - 3 days per week in office and the balance of the work week in a home office.
50% travel is expected for this position in the first year. Travel is expected to level off at 30% in year 2 and beyond.

You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and industrial hygiene roles in the chemical, pharmaceutical or allied health industry required
- In-depth understanding of industrial hygiene and occupational health legal requirements and best practices Process orientation, with a track record of leading change, collaborating across disciplines.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities to implement and ensure compliance with standards
