Senior Applications Consultant - SAP Basis- with RISE

About the job you are considering:

Our SAP BASIS Consultant to support our transition and operations within the RISE with SAP framework. This role involves managing cloud-based SAP landscapes, ensuring system performance, and collaborating with internal and external teams to optimize SAP infrastructure and applications.

Your role:

• Administer and configure SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, etc.) in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Oversee system copies, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure high availability and performance of SAP systems.
• Ability to configure HA & DR
• Ability to drive and solution Infra design & overall architecture
• Cloud & RISE Integration-   Collaborate with SAP and hyperscaler partners to manage cloud infrastructure under RISE with SAP.
• Support cloud migration strategies (greenfield, brownfield, bluefield).
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, user roles, and authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor system performance and conduct tuning activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP landscapes.
• Provide proactive support and incident management.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to support application changes.
• Prepare Cutover Strategy & Cutover Plan
• Act as a liaison between internal IT, SAP, and cloud service providers.
• Provide technical guidance during project phases including go-live and post-go-live support.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP BASIS, S/4HANA, RISE with SAP) preferred.
• Cloud Certification AWS Solution Architect, MS Azure Solution Architect or any other cloud hyoerscaler solution architect
• 5+ years of SAP BASIS experience, including cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and HANA databases.
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP architecture and service models.
• Experience with databases such as HANA, Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server.
• Exposure to SAP cloud environments like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of environment either consist of –Linux (RHEL, SUSE), Unix, Wintel servers with databases Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server etc
• Experience in building servers from ground up, collaborate with infrastructure team.
• Strong communication skill. 
• Ability to travel up to 75% +
