Description & Requirements

We are seeking a partnership-focused Senior Data Product Owner to lead the vision, design, and delivery of enterprise data products. This role will partner with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams to define and evolve data products that drive value, ensure compliance, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
A Day In the Life Typically Looks Like:
  • Build relationships with target users to understand their pain points and data needs.
  • Define and document the data product, including metadata, field catalog, data lifecycle stages, CRUD rules, and ownership.
  • Ensure all data products comply with relevant data privacy regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Gather and manage feedback and change requests from stakeholders.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Assess impacts of proposed changes and engage relevant cross-functional teams.
  • Secure stakeholder sign-off on proposed solutions and maintain an up-to-date product roadmap.
  • Communicate roadmap updates and decisions to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of data products, ensuring alignment with both technical and business processes.
  • Identify and address gaps or inefficiencies to reduce user pain points.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in data product ownership, data governance, or enterprise data strategy, preferably at a large-scale organization.
  • Experience in data product ownership, data governance, or enterprise data strategy.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle management, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Experience with change management and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks for data quality and product performance measurement.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with customer journey lifecycles and the data elements that support this in a High-Tech organization (i.e contact data).
  • Familiarity or certifications in continuous improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma.
