What We're Looking For

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst for Strategy to join our insurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, strategic planning, and data analysis within the P&C insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in the insurance value chain, including underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs specific to the insurance industry.
• Conduct industry research and trends analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Conduct research and gather information to inform strategic decision-making.
• Communicate and present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunity areas for automation, ability to participate in developing final deliverables
• Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and make adjustments as needed based on industry trends and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on insurance industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis and strategic planning within the insurance industry.
• Experience working as part of a scrum team and understanding of Agile development methods
• Strong understanding of the insurance value chain and its key processes. Experience with requirements analysis and interviews and documenting requirements across the P&C insurance value chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, SQL).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
