Job Description Summary:

Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.
The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients.
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of Nursing

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

• 5+ years of experience in critical care or emergency medicine

• ABG interpretation and interventions

• Cardiac rhythm recognition and interventions

• Shock states and interventions

• Neuro device basic setup and operation

• MTP operation w/ TEG interpretation

• Stroke alert protocol

• Basic diagnostic/lab interpretations and interventions

• Hemodynamic monitoring and interventions
