What You'll Do:

We are seeking an Operations Accounting – Fixed Asset Senior Analyst who will play a critical role supporting the fixed asset accounting team. This role will report to the Fixed Assets Manager and will be a part of the team that is critical to the company’s month-end close process.

The Fixed Asset Senior Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing development, management, and administration of our global fixed asset accounting operations activities.

About the Role:

In this role, you will partner closely with data center operations teams, project managers, and the inventory team to ensure proper financial reporting, asset capitalization, and lifecycle management. Fixed asset accounting is a strategic pillar within the Operations Accounting team, with many processes in the midst of scale and optimization. You will help build scalable processes for tracking, capitalizing, depreciating, and retiring assets, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and US GAAP.

The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach to efficient accounting processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to communicate deliverables and recommendations. In this role, you can expect to:

  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Bring a solution mindset, willing to work through complex operational challenges with multiple stakeholders that come with designing and improving fixed assets business processes.  
  • Identify, establish, maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audit and tax support.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting in alignment with company policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Serve as an accounting SME for system-related matters.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  
  • Prepare quarterly and annual footnote disclosures and CAPEX Cashflow in Form 10-Q/10-K.

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years of related experience in accounting with a focus on fixed assets; large public multi-national company and Big 4 experience required.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, plant/warehouse operations or data center asset environments is required.
  • Deep knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization rules, depreciation, and asset retirement obligations.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results.
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills & ability to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude that embraces challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
  • Global Business Services (GBS) experience is a plus
