Senior Welder Fabricator

Waste Connections of Arizona is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Welder Fabricator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona!

Must have a minimum of 5 years welding (STICK/MIG)

Details

• Pay:$30.00-$50.00 per hour DOE

• Schedule: 5AM Start time (50+hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Refuse Body Rebuilding:

  • Remove worn-out floors and liners from refuse bodies.

  • Fabricate and install new liners and inner body components.

• Fabrication and Welding:

  • Fabricate and weld various mobile refuse collection vehicle structures.

  • Perform cutting, shaping, and assembling of metal components to create complete products.

• Machining and Assembly:

  • Machine fabrication materials and components to specification.

  • Fit, set, and install fabricated structures to ensure structural integrity.

• Welding Techniques:

  • Cut and weld with a variety of processes (e.g., MIG, Stick).

  • Perform metal forming, bending, and finishing tasks as needed.

• Repair and Maintenance:

  • Repair and refurbish damaged structures and components.

  • Design, lay out, and estimate fabrication and repair projects.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 year minimum of MIG/Stick welding
• 5 year minimum of Fabricating materials in a shop setting
• Experience using hand tools
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
