Today’s healthcare environment in the post-COVID era is undergoing rapid change and transformation.  As healthcare organizations seek to stabilize operations and plan for a financially sustainable future, they are challenged to integrate transformative technology (Artificial intelligence, automation, etc.), adjust to patient-focused operations, and maintain operational discipline to withstand increasing financial pressures. As a manager within our Health consulting practice, you’ll work with clients across the healthcare industry, from hospitals and integrated delivery networks to commercial and governmental insurers. You’ll use your industry knowledge and relationship skillsets to assist our clients in transforming operations to meet the evolving demands of today's healthcare market

 

The opportunity
Join our dynamic Business Performance team, specializing in Transformation Architecture and Delivery. As a Senior Manager in Transformation Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and delivering large-scale transformation of service delivery models and enterprise operations. You will apply sector-specific business drivers, market events, operating principles, and transformation trends, assembling expertise covering all enterprise functions to lead transformations that generate long-term client value. This role offers the unique opportunity to advise teams and client C-suite executives on their transformation strategies, helping them design and implement complex programs.

 

Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of complex processes, solutions, and/or projects, maintaining focus on quality and risk management while navigating operational and organizational dynamics. You will:

• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend changes to policies that affect your work area and possibly the business function within your area/department.
• Be accountable for the budget, delivery, and performance of complex processes, solutions, and/or projects to achieve performance objectives.

Skills and attributes for success
To thrive in this role, you will need a deep insight in transformation architecture through analysis and knowledge of best practices to solve complex problems, drive thought leadership, and innovation. Additional key responsibilities include:

• Leading engagement delivery.
• Accountable for program/project management.
• Regular travel as needed by external clients.
• Managing client relationships and engaging in daily interactions.
• Leading client engagements from planning to execution and closure.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree); master's degree preferred.
• Typically, no less than 8 – 10 years' relevant experience in Healthcare Consulting, or ~5 years in consulting and 8+ years’ healthcare industry.
• Knowledgeable in relevant industry areas such as Health plans, health systems and healthcare specific applications.
• Exposure to operational improvement, benchmarking and financial quantification, cost reduction/revenue enhancement or workflow redesign within the health industry.
