Job Description:

Responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the buildings and grounds to include classrooms, common areas, and play fields. Responsible for monitoring and performing required inspections for various systems within the building. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent lifting, five (5) to fifty (50) pounds
• Occasional lifting, fifty (50) to one hundred (100) pounds
• Frequent extensive walking, bending, standing, reaching, and stooping
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, and squatting

Responsibilities:

--- Utilize positive technique to supervise and evaluate assigned personnel.

--- Utilize and train on effective use of cleaning and restorative materials as required.

--- Support all District sustainability policies.

--- Ensure Stakeholders satisfaction by coordinating and performing all setups and teardowns in a timely manner.

--- Exhibit a working knowledge of facility operations including electrical, gas/water controls and Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment.

--- Assist all emergency operations personnel as required.

--- Ensure all inspections on building, ground and equipment are done weekly or as assigned.

--- Ensure the general safety of the Public by removing snow and ice from the walkways, entries and play areas as required.

--- Promote learning environment by performing maintenance, cleaning, and setup requests, within Custodial responsibilities, generated by Building Staff.

--- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

--- Ensure the overall cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation of the facility, grounds and equipment maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.

--- Support all scheduling and coordinate with Group Leader and Building Administrator, work activities of custodial personnel and contact services as assigned.

Full Salary Range:

$22.40 USD - $35.64 USD Hourly

• All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
