POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and administering our compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives. You will partner closely with HR leaders and executives to support compensation-related initiatives and provide strategic, data-driven insights. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of compensation laws and regulations. Your ability to consult and collaborate with senior management will be essential in driving our compensation strategy forward.

This position will be located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI with options for hybrid or remote work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead complex compensation projects such as the design and implementation of new compensation programs or the overhaul of existing ones.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analyses to identify compensation trends and provide strategic insights.
  • Provide expert advice on compensation strategy and its alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage compensation surveys and participate in industry benchmarking studies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation practices and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and job evaluations.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for HR and management on compensation policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to address compensation-related issues and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compensation strategies with broader HR initiatives such as talent management and employee engagement.
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonus calculations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data in HR systems.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives related to compensation and total rewards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in compensation analysis
  • Ability to conduct advanced statistical analyses to identify compensation trends and provide strategic insights.
  • Experience leading complex compensation projects such as the design and implementation of new compensation programs or the overhaul of existing ones.
  • Capability to develop and deliver training sessions for HR and management on compensation policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.

  • CCP designation preferred
