Medical Lab Technologist, Modified Full Time

<h2><b>Employment Type:</b></h2>Full time<h2><b>Shift:</b></h2>Day Shift<p></p><h1><b>Description:</b></h1><p>* Prepares and uses proper controls and/or standards for all tests performed. Records data<br/>and follows specified guidelines dealing with course of action for out of range results.<br/>* Correlates data (clerical or technical) and monitors test results for reasonableness.<br/>Detects discrepancies and takes appropriate action.<br/>* Performs and documents scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance within expected<br/>time frame.<br/>* Recognizes and troubleshoots most equipment malfunctions without assistance, using<br/>control/patient results and equipment performance as a guide.</p><p></p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<br/>* Bachelors degree in one of the biologic, chemical or physical sciences.<br/>* Minimum of three years experience as a Medical Technologist.</p><p></p><p>LICENSURE<br/>* Must be a licensed Medical Technologist in more than one Clinical area by the state of<br/>Florida.<br/>* If working night shift must be licensed in all areas.<br/>* National certification preferred i.e. ASCP, HEW, NCA, ASMT, AAB or equivalent.</p><p></p><p><b>Our Commitment </b></p><p></p><p><span>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
