Chapter Leader – Director Software Engineering 

The Role 

We're looking for a passionate engineering leader to join Fixed Income Engineering chapter supporting Next Gen Trading platform experience. You will bring a strong technology background with a passion for coaching and growing engineering talent. In this role you will be leading a team of dynamic engineers working across multiple squads. Join us to be a part of our leadership team and help us build a healthy team environment promoting Engineering Excellence and a strong product mindset. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

• 10+ years of technical hands-on experience in designing and building large scale resilient distributed systems.  

• Passion for leading, coaching and developing talent in engineering teams in a geographically dispersed agile organization. 

• Proven experience in leading technical design and estimation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and governance controls. 

• Experience in leading front end engineering teams with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, TypeScript, Node, NPM, Rx JS) preferred. 

• Experienced in defining and promoting branching strategy, development and testing best practices with standard quality gates in CI/CD pipelines. 

• Broad knowledge of technology standards and best practices including devops practices, design principles, security, reliability, resilience, performance, etc. 

• Promoting engineering excellence and continuous learning mindset. 

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization  

• Experienced in identifying and acquiring talent needs, resource planning, and talent allocation across large organizations
