What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician
You’ll play a key role in keeping our community safe, functional, and welcoming. Responsibilities include:
Completing maintenance requests, including drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs
Participating in “on-call” rotations and occasional non-traditional schedules (events/weekends)
Preparing vacant units to be rent-ready and updating work order statuses
Performing plumbing-related tasks (faucet/toilet replacements, repairs to disposals, dishwashers, washers, refrigerators, etc.)
Maintaining common areas: trash pickup, sweeping, pressure washing, landscaping upkeep
Following OSHA and company safety standards and reporting concerns promptly
Supporting overall property maintenance and performing additional tasks as needed
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’d love to meet you if you bring:
A high school diploma/GED or vocational training
1+ years of maintenance or building/facility experience (handyman, renovations, DIY projects welcome!)
Preferred: HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing licensing/certifications
Commitment to confidentiality and resident service
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read instructions, diagrams, and complete basic math
A positive, professional attitude with strong teamwork skills
Great organization, accuracy, and ability to multitask
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
