About the role

Context

Design Enablement – Analog department, is providing custom EDA design tools and solutions for the  design teams working on analog, mixed A/D signal and RF integrated circuits. An important competence in the department is software engineering, covering all aspects from requirements development through solution architectures to software development, test, maintenance and support.

Your Responsibilities

  • As Software Engineer you will work closely with development team and IT services.
  • Responsible for daily software development tasks in large analog RF simulation project.

Your profile:

  • Senior Application Engineer with 3+ years relevant experience. Experience with EDA tooling related to AMS frontend design is an advantage..

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, along with the discipline to set and hit deadlines.
  • Proficiency in coding and the ability to write clean, functional code is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of C Language and AIX/Unix system is required
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience with compiler development using languages such as Antlr, Lex/Yacc.
  • OpenMP or OpenACC Experience along with modern CPU/GPU knowledge
  • Experience with Math Libraries
  • Experience working with HPC applications and Linux is a plus
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
  • Some electronic skills/knowledge will be an added value
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as version control systems as GIT , integrated development environments, and debugging tools.
  • Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global worldwide team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 3 years in SW software development
  • A good level of English is required for meetings, presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation
