Senior Supply Chain Professional - Inventory Systems and Sales Support

The Senior Supply Chain Professional will be expected to lead and manage vendor-based inventory and ordering systems with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. This role will also lead assigned projects group setting, build relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders, and drive incremental value for the business. Cross-functional and cross-business coordination both within Humana and with Humana’s supplier base is required.- Data Analytics around supplier costs, logistics and inventory reporting and analysis.
- Gather and interpret relevant data to assess costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.
- Engage in RFP Execution and implementations.
- Contribute to post-contract sourcing delivery success (savings, compliance, buying channel optimization) related to assigned sourcing projects.
- Provide Actionable Savings, Spend, and Compliance Insight
- Support Wave Planning / Pipeline Process
- Monitor common inventory between vendors, transfer inventory, recommend reprints and provide obsolescence guidelines as needed.
- Maintain Historical Data.
- Process complex monthly vendor invoices.

Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in related field, preferably in a business or technical discipline
- Strong financial and business acumen required.
- Proficient in Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel including modeling and development of macros.
- Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid public speaking and negotiation skills required.
- Ability to motivate project team members and stakeholders to meet established deadlines.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
- Detail oriented and critical thinker.
- Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new skill sets quickly as the need arises.
- Effectiveness in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience in working for a large-scale health and wellbeing organization.
- Experience in working with logistics partners such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
- Understanding of mail and logistic best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills: ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business results.
- Experience in developing project plans and presenting business cases to Senior Leaders preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously in a timely and professional manner; ability to transfer lessons learned into new processes; flexibility in job focus.
