About the role
This position will support the assigned business or functional unit along with deploying and supporting various disciplines of human resources in the fields of compensation, benefits, training and development, talent review/succession planning, resource planning, and associate relations. This individual will focus on customer service and solutions related to human resources activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assesses organizational needs, working closely with business group and unit leaders, and provides input and advice to other areas of human resources functions to improve offerings and services and achieve organizational objectives.
- Works closely with all levels of associates to answer questions and concerns regarding HR and Company.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to solve complex projects. Manages and prioritizes assigned projects to include but not limited to project definition and business requirements may assign and monitor work of project team members. Ensures that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget. Has authority to make project-related decisions.
- Provides strong associate relations for the Company by gathering information from associates and managers during fact finding conversations to make recommendations for coaching and discipline with associates.
- Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource trends and needs, can interpret internal and external information to leaders.
- Support other associate activities such as new hire orientation, HR KPI reporting as assigned by HR Mgr or HRFL.
- Sets key milestones for assigned projects and creates visualization of status and success to Human Resources manager and function leaders to communicate and share with location A/B/F leaders.
- Continuously communicates information to Human Resources managers and function leaders in order to consistently carry messages and status across region. Verifies messages are interpreted correctly through confirmation with HRBP and that the messages carry through to assigned business group, function group or location assigned.
- Acts as a mentor to other human resources professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related field.
- Requires 8+ years of direct experience in Human Resouces, including some project management or program management experience.
