Your Responsibilities

 

As a Manufacturing Engineer Foundry, for John Deere Foundry located in Waterloo, IA, you will plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry operations while working with cross-functional groups in the following activities:

 

• Maintain and update existing tools and processes
• Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of small to large scope
• Work with digital engineering tools to perform engineering functions
• Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations

What Skills You Need

 

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Experience working with Manufacturing Engineering
• Demonstration of the ability to be an effective member of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team
• Demonstration of the ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Solid skills in Microsoft basics: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology and/or equivalent Manufacturing Engineering experience.
