Your Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer Foundry, for John Deere Foundry located in Waterloo, IA, you will plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry operations while working with cross-functional groups in the following activities:
- Maintain and update existing tools and processes
- Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of small to large scope
- Work with digital engineering tools to perform engineering functions
- Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations

What Skills You Need
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Experience working with Manufacturing Engineering
- Demonstration of the ability to be an effective member of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team
- Demonstration of the ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft basics: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology and/or equivalent Manufacturing Engineering experience.
