Senior Policy & Governance Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid/Onsite)
Clearance: Ability to pass federal background investigation

About the Role

A senior Policy Analyst is needed to help shape and refine policies and procedures for a federal public safety agency. This role involves researching, developing, and evaluating policies that have a direct impact on mission execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Research statutes, regulations, guidance, and best practices to inform policy development.

  • Draft and revise agency policies, procedures, and SOPs.

  • Analyze policy impacts and provide recommendations for leadership.

  • Coordinate reviews with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

  • Develop briefings and training materials to support policy rollout.

  • Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of policy analysis or related experience, preferably in federal or justice/public safety environments.

  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

  • Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear guidance.

  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Work Authorization

U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a federal background check.

Salary - $87,000 - $100,000

LCAT - Policy Analyst IV

Contingent upon contract award
