POSITION SUMMARY:
Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. We also proudly do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Situated just 25 miles from the factory, the city of Lincoln offers convenience to many of our associates who prefer the amenities of larger city living. They embrace the short commute from Lincoln to the quainter city of Crete, where our factory thrives.
As Financial Accounting Lead (Financial Accounting Manager), you’ll maintain the integrity of the factory financial structure and drive accuracy in the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of operating costs. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards. Bring your accounting expertise to a safety-minded, collaborative team as you manage factory budgets and costs.

Create and manage budgets and costs for the facility.

Complete required factory accounting activities including performing monthly general ledger closing activities in SAP.

Develop, research, communicate, and implement new or updated procedures as dictated by business needs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders and the corporate finance team.

Work with team leaders and hourly associates on the factory floor conducting leadership activities to support fixed asset inventories.

Manage and develop a team to achieve factory and department goals.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in an accounting, finance, business, or related field.

3+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting, operations control, budgeting, and variance analysis.

1+ years of supervisory experience.
The approximate hourly pay rate for this position is $ $98,000 - $127,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
