Security Analyst

Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

Essential Job Duties

As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for examining large sets of data, looking for security issues. You will perform administrative tasks to enable our security program. If you’re looking for a great start in the world of security, then our Security Analyst position will be perfect for you.

You will

• Work closely with our IT team to address security concerns and help with incident response
• Monitor security controls and analyze the impact of their logs using SIEM technology and scripting
• Review and improve security and IT controls to ensure they are up to date and fully applied
• Work with vulnerability assessment tools and manage the application of patches

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• 1-year experience in a technology field (employment, schooling, significant volunteer work)
• Experience with Windows, OS X, and Linux
• Familiarity with networking concepts (how websites work, how ports and IP addresses work, how encryption works, etc.)
• A passion for computers and security
