We are currently looking for a Senior R&D Engineer, Modeling & Simulation to join our Neurovascular Operating Unit in Irvine, CaliforniaBe a part of engineering a comprehensive portfolio of proven, powerful neurovascular technologies, setting the highest standards of integrity and reliability in Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke Care.

A Day in the Life 

 

In this exciting role as a Senior R&D Engineer, you will support projects related to both acute ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke technologies. You will work independently under general supervision within a computational modeling team to generate new simulation tools or apply existing tools for the prediction of device performance and safety.  

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Develop & utilize structural finite-element modeling tools for the design and evaluation of neurovascular device/s. 

  • Implement general mechanical design and solid mechanics fundamentals to drive product development for the treatment of neurovascular diseases. 

  • Work collaboratively with front-end R&D and product development teams as well as with cross-functional team members to bring new products to market. 

  • Utilize computational modeling & simulation to develop new test methods; integrate materials and processes; characterize device performance. 

  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical assessments and analysis results. 

  • Generate technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies. 

  • Offer insight, guidance, and mentorship to project team members. 

  • Aid in the generation of intellectual property. 

  • Analyze computational modeling & simulation results, distill key findings
